Not sure where to study Theology? See King's distinctives

Thinking of studying theology but struggling to determine exactly which is the right Bible college, seminary or theological institution for your needs and interests? For prospective students seeking specific emphases and features of a theological education, King's Evangelical Divinity School offers several distinctives that help set us apart from other institutions. If you're looking for any one of these, then King's and its programmes may be for you. View our distinctives (or select from the About drop-down menu, above, for this and other information about us).

Visit by Dr Amos Yong (30 March 2012)

King’s is pleased to welcome Dr Amos Yong, co-editor of Pneuma: The Journal for the Society of Pentecostal Studies and former president of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, for a seminar on Friday 30 March. Dr Yong, who is the J. Rodman Williams Professor of Theology at Regent University School of Theology, Virginia Beach, is an excellent and energetic speaker and teacher, and one of the world’s leading experts on the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements, having published and spoken widely on the subject. Several years ago he delivered the noted Cadbury lectures at the University of Birmingham on this issue.

New Year, New Opportunities

The holiday season is fast approaching, and with it the New Year, when we make all sorts of resolutions and decisions which, unfortunately, rarely survive the end of January.

B.Th. Christian Worship module

King's has just launched a new double module (20 credits) entitled Theology of Worship, which is a new elective forming part of the Bachelor of Theology (BTh) programme for those interested in studying this subject as part of their Theology degree. This module, which is useful for those involved (or who would like to be involved) in worship, for example, pastors and worship leaders, together with all those interested in the subject of worship across the wider church, as with all other King's modules is delivered fully online.

New Graduate Diploma in Theology

alt

King's is launching a new Graduate Diploma in Theology, validated by the University of Chester, providing graduates who hold a degree in a subject other than Theology with a means of formally measuring competence and earning an internationally recognised undergraduate qualification in the subject without having to commit to studying for a full theological degree. The programme is available online full-time over one year and part-time over up to four years.
