Last year, Calvin Smith had a book review on an important new title in Biblical Theology published by Evangelical Quarterly. This book review is now available on this website. Students in particular should take the time to read it, as it discusses how Biblical Theology is once again making important headway within academic theology. To access the essay, click on "Theological Articles" on the main menu (see left of this page). |

An article detailing Christian action was recently posted on the College blog which we want to encourage everyone to read. It can be found here: http://collegeblog.midbible.ac.uk/its-make-or-break-time-to-do-your-bit/. Please bring this to the attention of as many Christians as possible, as well as to your church. Many thanks. |

Several Midlands Bible College and Divinity School lecturers have helped found a brand new academic journal, the Evangelical Review of Society and Politics, to be launched within the next few weeks. This peer-reviewed journal, which features various well-known, international Christian academics on its editorial board, explores the interaction between Christianity and politics at a time when faith is moving firmly away from the private sphere into the public square. Evangelicals especially are becoming inceasingly involved in politics, and this journal provides an important international forum for such debate. Full details of the aims, contents of the first edition, and subscription information can be found at www.evangelicalreview.com. To subscribe, visit the college's online shop. |
