William Kay is Reader and Director of the Centre for Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies at Bangor University, Wales. He has researched and written widely on the subject of Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies, a burgeoning field within theological departments which, by virtue of the movement's widespread growth over the past quarter-of-a-century, is widely studied by observers and insiders alike. In April MBCDS's Calvin Smith spoke with Dr Kay concerning his research and latest book exploring the Restorationist movement in the UK.

Tour of the British Museum (Saturday 21st June 2008)

The next tour of the British Museum will take place on Saturday 21st June, led by MBCDS lecturer Julian Spriggs. We would like to encourage all students and friends of the college to consider joining this exciting tour, even if you do not normally enjoy going round museums, of even if history was your least favourite subject at school! In the U.K. we are very privileged to have easy access to this amazing collection of archaeological artifacts, many of which have a direct connection to important people or events of the Old Testament. Seeing and learning about these artifacts helps us see that the Bible really is rooted in history. Our faith is strengthened as we see that God acted in history, and that the archaeological evidence consistently supports the accounts recorded in the Bible.
