Midlands Bible College interview with Paul Wilkinson, author of For Zion's Sake

In November 2007 Paul Wilkinson's book For Zion's Sake: Christian Zionism and the Role of John Nelson Darby was published by Paternoster. Already on its third print run, Midlands Bible College contacted Paul for a brief interview concerning his research and book, as well as asking him about responses to the book and opportunities arising out of it. The full interview with Paul can be found below. Further details of the book, together with a special purchase offer currently being made available by Paternoster, can be found on the publisher's promotional flyer.

Robertson, a distinguished Greek scholar, who said, “The Greek New Testament is the New Testament. All else is translation. Jesus speaks to us out of every page of the Greek.  To get these words of Jesus it is worthwhile to plough through any grammar and to keep on to the end.”

STILL SOME PLACES AVAILABLE, but you must book to attend.

The college is holding an evening two-session seminar on the Middle East. In the first session, MBC tutor Edward Malcolm will explore the challenges of Islam and how to respond to them. Edward was a missionary in a Muslim country (Morocco) for thirteen years and has written and spoken widely on this issue, so he brings a wealth of experience to the topic. MBC Principal Calvin Smith will lead the second session, exploring Israel from a theological perspective and also offering some practical steps on how to respond to the current Middle East situation and also replacement theology. The venue will be held at the current college facilities in Wolverhampton (perhaps the last event to be held there) on Monday 29 October between 7.15 - 9.15 pm. Doors open at 6.45 pm. COST: GBP 6 per person, or GBP 10 per couple, payable on the night. Email now to reserve your place, admin(a)midbible.ac.uk.
