Introduction
King's Evangelical Divinity School offers distance learning New Testament Greek and Biblical Hebrew modules for beginners. These introductory courses can either be taken independently or as part of the College's undergraduate Hermeneutics and Theology programmes, which are accredited by the University of Wales, Lampeter. Thus, successful completion of each module earns twenty University-recognised credits, which is ideal for those seeking formal certification in Greek and Hebrew. These two courses in biblical languages provide foundational studies in the original languages of Scripture.
The cost of each module varies depending on whether you require University certification, tutorial support, or materials only. The study pack contains a module guide, audio recordings (in mp3 format), workbook, and a test book containing the assignments through which the module is assesed. In addition, you will also need to purchase a Greek grammar textbook as recommended by ourselves (cost: GPB 11-14). When purchasing tutorial support, the fee includes the marking of assignments, which are returned to you with the tutor's corrections and comments. The fee also covers all administration work involved in certificating your knowledge of Greek or Hebrew.
All learning, tutorial advice and assessment is through distance education, supported through our online eCampus environment. The courses can be taken part-time or full-time and there is no required residential component. These courses are available for immediate enrolment.
